Renaming or Moving Libraries

Moving and renaming libraries is a simple task that is accomplished through Windows Explorer.

In order to rename a library, do the following:

Locate the library folder in Windows Explorer.

Quit Paperless.

Use Windows Explorer to rename or move the library folder.

Re-launch Paperless. You may need to use the Open

command (in the File menu) to open your library again in

Paperless.

If you do not know where your library ﬁle is normally kept, you can

determine its path by choosing Open... from the File menu. By

default, the Open Paperless Library dialog will show the path of the

library you are currently using. Be sure that the name you choose

ends in .paperless; Paperless will not be able to open the ﬁle if it

does not.
